Medibook found the nearest hospital in Kathmandu, until maps caught up
Medibook was a free medical directory iOS app for Kathmandu. It helped users find hospitals, get directions, and make emergency calls with a single tap.

Why it existed: We built Medibook when Google Maps coverage of Kathmandu was limited and smartphone adoption in Nepal was still low. It gave residents and visitors a quick way to find medical help without digging through websites or calling information lines.
As maps improved and smartphones spread, the value of a standalone directory app faded. We retired Medibook, and it is no longer on the App Store.
