Make research and participation easier to navigate.

Researchers, participants, funders, communications teams, and the public use a research site for different purposes. We organise publications, project information, and participation features around what each audience needs. For TreatOA, a consortium of eleven institutions, we built dedicated pages for each work package and a private members' area.

Content models, search, user permissions and integrations need to reflect how the institution works. We define what the website needs to handle, what stays in research systems, and who reviews changes. For TwinsUK, the public website, members' site, and data access system each served a separate purpose.

Research projects have specific requirements for data, consent, accessibility and governance. Your team works with the appropriate specialists to define these requirements. We then translate the agreed requirements into design and development tasks and review the implementation with your team.

For TwinsUK at King's College London, from 2012 to 2023, we built its public website, members' site and data access system for the UK's largest adult twin registry.

For TreatOA, an EU-funded osteoarthritis research consortium coordinated at King's, we planned, designed, and built the website and members' area. The site was live from 2013 to 2019. The project came to us through our work with TwinsUK.

Through agency partners, we have also built and maintained websites for a conservation body, a medical research institute, a university genetics unit and several research centres. These clients stay unnamed.
