Development behind an Amsterdam designer.

whoislewis designed the sites and kept the clients; we built them, on WordPress and on Magento.

A designer who needed developers

whoislewis is the studio of Kim Lewis, a strategic communications designer in Amsterdam. Kim works on identity, campaigns, content and digital products. The build of some of those websites came to us.

How the work was shared

whoislewis held each client and the design. We built the sites and the systems behind them, so the clients could change their own pages and products. Our portfolio called each one "a collaborative project with one of our partners whoislewis".

What the record shows

Our own site listed the work from April 2015 to March 2016, and the Web Archive keeps those pages. They name the platform and our part for each site, and the clients stay unnamed here.

What we built for whoislewis's clients

Each line comes from our own portfolio pages of 2015 and 2016. The clients stay unnamed.

  1. An online shop on Magento

A shop selling potted plants. We built its content and catalogue system on Magento.

  2. WordPress for service businesses

Content systems for a tax and financial consultancy serving the creative sector, a technology company and a business support firm. We worked closely with the clients on the first.

  3. Sites for people in the arts

A singer's official site, on a WordPress theme we customised with whoislewis. A photographer's site and two storytellers' portfolio, both responsive, on WordPress.
