**Six audiences.** Donors, policymakers, media, program participants, volunteers, and the public all use the same website for different reasons. The website must make it easy for each group to find the right information.

**Content is detailed and sensitive.** Policy briefs, research, legal resources, legislative trackers, and advocacy tools must stay accurate and easy to access for years. A broken link to a policy brief can hurt trust.

**Donations must work smoothly.** Payment processing, recurring donations, tax receipts, and CRM integration must meet Payment Card Industry (PCI) and tax receipt rules.

**Accessibility is required.** Organizations receiving federal funds must meet Section 508. Others follow WCAG 2.1 AA. Accessibility must be checked across every page, component, and content update.
