## Our approach

Accessibility is part of how we design and maintain this website. Our priorities include clear page structure, readable text, keyboard navigation, visible focus and forms with labels and useful error messages.

## What we check

Before changes go live, automated tests run on the pages listed in our sitemap:

- Rules that axe-core can test for the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA and Section 508.
- Page structure: headings, link names, regions, form labels and keyboard-focus rules.
- Names, roles and reading order in Chrome’s accessibility tree. This does not reproduce what every screen reader announces.

A change that fails any of these does not go live.

Automated tests find many problems, but not all of them. No independent body has audited the site. These checks do not replace testing by people using assistive technology. Your feedback helps us find what the tests miss.

## Motion and reading

The homepage capability panel has a short transition when you change your selection. Links and cards may change colour or shadow on hover. On phones, the header hides as you scroll down and returns when you scroll up.

The Reduce animation control turns transitions off and saves your choice when browser storage is available. The capability transition and mobile header animation also follow your device's reduce-motion setting.

Meaningful information should remain available without waiting for an animation or relying on colour alone. We review text, image descriptions and navigation alongside the visual design.

## Forms and navigation

The contact form identifies required and optional fields and marks fields that need attention. Error messages explain what to correct or offer another way to contact us.

If a form prevents you from reaching us, email [hello@lastdoorsolutions.com](mailto:hello@lastdoorsolutions.com).

## Feedback

Please share the page address, what you wanted to do and what happened. If useful, include your browser or assistive technology. You do not need to disclose a disability to report a problem.

We use this feedback to investigate problems and improve the site.

## Found something that does not work for you?

Tell us the page, what you were trying to do and what got in your way.
